Debt Collection Officer

We are looking for an analytical and dedicated Debt Collection Officer willing to join our team and actively participate in the debt collection activity arising from credit agreements financed by Agricover Credit IFN.
The Debt Collection Officer position is the right fit for you if you have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the economic field;
- Higher education, preferably in economics;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Proven interest in agriculture and specifically in agricultural finance;
- Developed communication skills;
- Attention to detail and friendly attitude towards figures and data;
- Integrity and a confirmed penchant for rules and procedures.
Your responsibilities are:
- Follow up on final due dates and notify customers and front office colleagues as per the debt collection procedure;
- Follow up on instalments and contracts that have come due;
- Contacting customers by telephone and notifying them according to specific procedures;
- Sending text messages with the amounts due to customers;
- Issuing statements of account and sending them to clients;
- Handing over legal recovery files to the hard collection department;
- Drawing up periodic reports on the work carried out;
- Carrying out level 1 checks as agreed with internal audit and archiving the results of the checks.

- Parameterisation and IT development activities related to the management application;
- Promoting mutual respect, collaboration and transparency within the department, in relations with other departments and in relations with clients;
- Maintaining and conveying a standard of professionalism in carrying out the department's activities by implementing agreed work processes and procedures.
Reports to the Agricover Credit IFN Amicable Collection Service Coordinator.
