In a context where access to financing is essential for the development of small and medium-sized farms, Agricover Credit IFN takes another step in supporting Romanian farmers through a partnership with the European Investment Fund (EIF).
Through this collaboration, we aim to support them by providing access to credit partially guaranteed by the European Union, which comes with an important benefit for our farmers and their capital: a 0.5% reduction in the interest rates applied to purchases made through the Card FERMIER.

Who can benefit?
To access this facility, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- They must own an agricultural holding registered with APIA, with at least: 10 ha of field crops or the equivalent of 2,500 sqm of vegetables grown in greenhouses, 1 ha of field vegetables, 1 ha of watermelons, 2 ha of potatoes, 4 ha of fruit trees, 4 ha of vineyards, or 4 heads of beef or dairy cattle.
- Legal form of organization: SRL, PFA, II, or IF, established for at least 1 year.
What benefits does the FERMIER Card offer?
The FERMIER Card provides farmers with fast and flexible access to financing and can be used for:
- Fuel purchases directly from gas stations
- Online purchases of agricultural equipment and inputs
- Transactions in the Agricover online store
- Cash withdrawals from any ATM, in Romania or abroad
