AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A is committed to implementing the highest standards of confidentiality and transparency with regard to the personal data we process in our current activity. Full protection and transparency regarding the processing of your personal data in the course of our business are our paramount objectives.
The Privacy Policy describes the categories of your data that we process, how and for what purposes we collect it, in which situations we transfer personal data and the various rights and options you have in this respect. At the same time, our Privacy Policy details how we process personal data in the management of customer relationships, most often to keep you informed about our offers, services, products or programs we run in the agricultural or livestock sector.

2. Categories of personal data processed
AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. processes personal data during its activity of marketing, distribution of products and services in the agricultural zootechnical and financial field - data that usually belong to our employees and representatives or employees of our commercial or institutional partners, as well as to our individual customers.
The personal data we process may include:
- Contact information, such as your name, job title, postal address, including home address if you have provided it to us, business address, telephone number, mobile phone number, fax number and e-mail address;
- Details of orders placed;
- Information that we need to conclude contracts with you and issue related documents.
3. The purposes for which we process your personal data
We may only use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing Marketing Services;
- Completion of Sales/Service Contracts;
- Complying with our legal obligations (such as obligations to keep accounting records and supporting documents);
- Analysing and improving our services and communications to you;
- Protecting security and managing access to our premises, IT and communication systems, online platforms, websites and other systems, preventing and detecting security threats, fraud or other criminal or malicious activity;

If you have expressly given us your consent, we may also process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Communicating with you through the channels you have approved to keep you informed of offers, promotions, events.
- Customer surveys, marketing campaigns, market analysis, sweepstakes, contests or other promotional activities or events.
4. Legal grounds for processing personal data
Any operation that amounts to processing (collection, storage, recording, structuring, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, destruction) of your personal data will be carried out on the basis of one of the legal grounds below:
- The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you or your organisation is a party, or the processing is necessary for entering into a contract with you or your organisation;
- The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation;
- The processing is carried out on the basis of your prior explicit consent;
- The processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of you or another natural person;
- The processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. or of a third party, unless your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms are overridden by these interests.
In cases where applicable legal provisions require your prior explicit consent for the processing of special categories of data, we will process such data only on the basis of your prior explicit consent. At the same time, we will take additional safeguards that any natural person or entity that communicates your special personal data to us has obtained your prior consent.
You may choose to withdraw your consent to marketing materials at any time by simply clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of each newsletter or event invitation.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on your consent prior to withdrawal. As a general rule, in cases where you withdraw your consent, AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. will no longer allow the processing of your data. However, if the processing is strictly necessary for the provision of AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. services and the processing could be based on other legitimate grounds provided for by the applicable legal provisions, AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. will proceed with the processing and will inform you accordingly.
5. Sharing and transferring your personal data
We may share your personal data with our assignees - mainly service providers of AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A., but we will retain control over your personal data and will use appropriate safeguards, as required by applicable law, to ensure the integrity and security of your personal data when requested by those service providers.
We will also only disclose your personal data when you instruct us or give us permission, when we are required by applicable law or regulations or requests of judicial or official bodies to do so, or as necessary to investigate actual or suspected fraudulent or criminal activity.

In situations where the law so requires, the disclosure of data to certain categories of third parties will be carried out only on the basis of the data subject's explicit consent.
We ensure that all data recipients implement appropriate security and confidentiality measures and process the data exclusively in accordance with our instructions and the applicable data protection legislation.
The data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned, without prior notice to the data subject, where this is required.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will be carried out only under the conditions permitted by the applicable legislation, including on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or to countries that provide an adequate level of protection.
7. Keeping your personal data secure
We have implemented technical and organisational measures to maintain the confidentiality and security of your personal data in accordance with our internal procedures regarding the storage, disclosure and access of personal data. Personal data may be stored on our personal data technology systems, those of our contractors or in hard copy format.
8. Updating personal data about you
If any of the personal data you have provided to us changes, for example if you change your first name, last name or email address or if you wish to cancel any request to us, or if you become aware that we hold any incorrect personal data about you, please notify us by sending an email to [email protected]. We will not be liable for any loss arising from incorrect, unauthentic, insufficient or incomplete Personal Data you provide to us.
At the same time, we will take reasonable steps to periodically update our records of your Personal Data, but we will not be liable for any unanticipated changes to your Personal Data.
9. Retention period of your personal data
AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. has implemented technical and organizational measures to organize the process and criteria for the deletion or disposal of your personal data.
Your personal data will be erased or deleted when it is no longer reasonably required for the purposes defined in point 3 above and AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A. is no longer legally obliged to continue storing that data. However, we will retain your personal data where it is necessary for the exercise or defence by AGRICOVER HOLDING S.A of a right of you or another person in legal proceedings, until the end of the relevant retention period or until the resolution of those legal proceedings.
10. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data
Subject to certain legal conditions, we would like to inform you that under the new personal data protection regulations set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016, if we process your personal data, you have the following rights:
- the right of access, provided for in Article 15, under which you can ask us, free of charge, to confirm whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you. You can also ask us for a copy of the data we process about you. Requests must include relevant information to identify you in our database. We will deal with your request within 30 days;
- the right to rectification, provided for in Article 16, which you can exercise by making a request asking us to amend the information we already hold about you. You can make such a request when you notice that your data is incomplete or inaccurate;
- the right to restrict processing, provided for in Article 18, which you can exercise when you contest the accuracy of the data, consider that the processing is unlawful or object to the erasure of the data. Following the exercise of this right, we will still be able to store the data, further processing operations being possible only with your consent, except in cases expressly provided for by law;
- the right to portability, provided for in Article 20, which you can exercise only in cases where the processing is based on your consent or contract and only if your data are processed by automated means. If you meet the conditions, you can send us a request to transfer your data to the controller of your choice;
- the right to object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes, provided for in Article 21. You can exercise this right at any time, and we guarantee that your data will no longer be processed for this purpose. However, it may take a reasonable time (72 hours) for your request to be registered and dealt with, during which you may still receive marketing information from us;
- the right to erasure, provided for in Article 17, under which we are obliged to erase the personal data we process about you. This right is not an absolute right, applying only in certain situations expressly provided for by law. When making a request for erasure, please bear in mind that erasure can be a complex process.

We will consider any requests or complaints we receive and will provide you with a timely response. 11. Updating our privacy policy
The most recent update of this Privacy Policy was made in September 2026. We reserve the right to periodically update and amend this Privacy Policy to reflect any changes in the way we process your personal data or any changes in legal requirements. In the event of any such changes, we will post the amended version of the Privacy Policy on our website and/or otherwise make it available.
