Ce înseamnă statutul de Superbrand?

Vishing

Vishing is a fraudulent method by which you can be contacted by telephone by people pretending to be from the authorities (police, prosecutors, representatives of IT companies, banks or even Agricover Credit IFN representatives) and who request remote access to your computer under various invented pretexts. Their real purpose is to access your confidential data and steal your money.

How do you protect your data in case of a vishing attempt?

  • DO NOT answer calls from outside the country, especially if you don't know people from those countries!
  • DO NOT divulge any confidential data such as your Credit360 user and password, activation code, card number, CVV2 code or credit card PIN.
  • DO NOT install apps and DO NOT access websites at the direction of people who contact you by phone.
  • DO NOT assume that your contacts are trustworthy just because they know some information about you that is easy to find out from social media.


 The most common "scenarios" invented by scammers:

  • Windfall - you have won a large sum of money, and to get hold of it you have to provide your confidential details.
  • Computer virus - due to a virus on your computer, a fault has occurred in the system of the financing institution (NFI) and your details are needed to fix the problem.
  • An NFI emergency - scammers will claim they need your information quickly, blaming it on bogus procedures.

In these situations, if you receive a message informing you that you have authorised a payment or confirming a transaction you have not made, please contact us as a matter of urgency ONLY on the telephone number on the back of your credit card!
