Agricover Credit IFN launches the FERMIER card - the first credit card specifically for farmers in Romania
Agricover Credit IFN launched on Tuesday, 15 February 2022, the first Mastercard business credit card created especially for Romanian farmers. The launch event took place at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, where Agricover and the partners involved in the project (Mastercard, DiPocket UAB and Nexi SIA) were joined by partners from the financial sector, important farmers from all over the country and journalists from the business and specialized press.
The FERMIER credit card offers farmers the possibility to manage in an easy and comfortable way the credit line granted by Agricover Credit IFN to cover current needs, having control and security over the transactions made. Farmers can purchase agricultural inputs with 0% interest from the Agricover online shop. The credit can be repaid annually and is linked to the harvest period of the main crop.
