Ion Uzum, about Agricover products applied in wheat crop

Healthy crops give good yields and profit at the end of the agricultural year. It's a principle that Ion Uzum, a farmer from Neudorf, Arad county, also follows. He turned to Agricover's specialists to help him grow a beautiful wheat field. The treatments applied have solved all the problems.

Ion Uzum is an engineer at SC Sib Car in Neudorf, a company that works 900 ha of land. One third of this area is planted with cereals, another third with maize and the rest with sunflowers, oilseed rape and fodder crops. Wheat is one of the farmer's favourite crops. To avoid problems in the field, Ion Uzum has turned to Agricover specialists.

"We wanted to make sure we had a healthy crop and a good crop, and we succeeded in achieving our goal. In T1 we used Protendo fungicide, the active substance is prothioconazole, 300 g/l. And the dose applied is 0.35 l/ha. As insecticide, we used Poleci insecticide, the active substance is deltamethrin and we used a dose of 0.2 l/ha," Uzum explained.

In treatment 2, Ion Uzum applied, also on the recommendation of Agricover specialists, the foliar fertilizer Plonvit Active Cereals at a dose of 3 l/ha. This product has a balanced content of microelements such as boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc. Microelements are chelated and thus readily available to plants. "As a fungicide, we used the Kardax Cereals package, composed of proticonazole 0.33 l/ha and azoxystrobin 0.75 l/ha, and as an insecticide, we used all Poleci insecticide at a dose of 0.2 l/ha," Ion Uzum added.
